Project Details

Our goal with Prati Italia, an upscale restaurant in St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida, was to create landscaping and lighting which would draw the eye to the building location, highlight the two entries to the restaurant, and reflect the high quality of the dining experience. The challenges presented in this location were poor natural light at the front of the building and small planting beds placed next to very hot asphalt parking lots.

Using a plant palette reminiscent of Italy, tall Junipers reach up to draw the eye toward the restaurant signage and frame the entryway. An evergreen palette with pops of traditional blues and whites set against landscape boulders creating a fragrant and contemporary Mediterranean feel inviting their customers into either the restaurant entry or to the flower lined walk of the back terrace.
