Rockaway, Inc. would like to thank you for your continued support during these challenging times. All our divisions (Install/Landscape, Maintenance, Irrigation, Lighting & Gardening Services) remain OPEN for business. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and our customers.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
- We remain available to service you by phone, email and video chat. Our office staff are equipped to work remotely and will generally be working from home as required. For the time being, our office will be closed to the public, but we welcome hearing from you via all other channels.
- We will continue to do consultations and designs for your landscape/irrigation installations. We won’t be entering your homes or having you come to the office to review the options. We will stay outside in the fresh air and greet each other without the traditional handshake. Follow up designs and reviews will be done by email, phone and Zoom conference calls.
- Maintenance will continue to perform services with crews working at a safe distance. If you have any concerns, we ask you contact us via email/phone and not approach the crew member directly.
- We remain committed to our employees by doing the following:
- Additional sanitation for our facilities, vehicles and equipment
- Staggered shifts, extended hours of operation, extended days of service to minimize crew size and interoffice contact
- Taking necessary precautions; trucks and equipment receive fuel at our facility, all breaks and lunch are staggered to limit interaction while following all CDC Guidelines on social distancing and sanitation procedures
During this uncertain time, our yards, more than ever, are a place of relaxation and enjoyment. Spending time outdoors is one of the healthiest pastimes. Mostly we urge you to continue to support local small businesses throughout the Beaches area! Many of us have gladly supported your fund raisers throughout the year. Now many are in survival mode, and that take-out order, gift certificate purchase or early Christmas present can help make the difference in staying afloat.
