Marsh Landing Residential Landscaping – Courtyard & Front Entrance
Rockaway Landscape Designer David Holloway walks us through the completion of this residential lanscaping design in Marsh Landing Country Club near Ponte Vedra Beach (video below).
This courtyard needed some freshening up after removal of old decking and related material. David developed a landscape design plan with the client with suitable plantings along a new gravel walkway from the driveway to the entrances within the courtyard.
Plantings in the courtyard include Firespike, Lantana, Salvia, Queen Emma Crinum lily, liriope, Fringe tree, gardenias, hydrangeas, and Matchstick bromeliads. A planter box was also installed for the homeowner’s herb and vegetable gardening.
Likewise, the front entrance had taken on a very native look that hid much of the architectural beauty of the house. Plantings along the walkway to the front entrance include decorative grasses, Blue Daze, Pentas, Salvia, Schilling’s hollies, Regina iris, and Bleeding Heart Vine on several new trellises.
The homeowner was pleased with the outcome of this landscaping project designed and installed to improve the front entrance curb appeal and courtyard beauty that will add to their enjoyment for years to come.
Thank you to our clients, the Shetty family in the Marsh Landing community for this landscaping opportunity, David for his landscape design skills and plant knowledge along with Alex and his installation team for a job well done.
