Garden Water Feature & Trellis Design in Atlantic Beach
Rockaway creates beautiful custom water features for residential and commercial clients throughout Northeast Florida. Our client in Atlantic Beach selected Rockaway to design and install front and backyard landscaping and an Aquascape stacked slate sphere water feature.
Jasmine Living Roof
A trellis in the front yard was retrofitted with increased planting space to accommodate jasmine at the base to climb and cover in the next few years. Cold-damaged hibiscus was replaced. Additional plantings in the front yard include pineapple guava, drift roses, and an orange bird of paradise. A weeping bottle brush and hibiscus were added in the backyard.
Stacked Slate Sphere Water Feature
An Aquascape stacked slate sphere water feature was installed with a pump that recirculates water from an in-ground basin covered with decorative gravel. A light is installed at the top of the stacked slate sphere and around the perimeter of the water feature. Liriope were planted to hide the light fixtures from the viewing areas in the yard and on the homeowners’ porch.
